Bright <Codes>
A coding channel that ships its own Telegram bots, from a notes-to-quiz bot to the SitePulse uptime monitor.
Hi, I'm Beki! Welcome to @Bright_codes, where I share coding insights, tech news, and occasional fun stuff. Stick around for useful tips and cool projects.
Bright <Codes> has shared coding insights, tech news and occasional fun stuff since September 2024. The heart of it is a running build log. A first Telegram bot went live in October 2024, followed by a Gemini-powered bot that turns notes into quiz questions, the wikiscraper-py library and the open-source SitePulse uptime bot. In between come progress updates, dev jokes and practical advice for anyone learning to code.
- Recently averaging 6.8 posts a week.
- Longest streak: 15 weeks in a row with a post every week.
- Its most-used word is "bot". Fitting.

Challenge mode
February 2025 brought a 10-day challenge with daily updates, starting with a refresh of Ajax and Bootstrap for a project. In April, a small recreation project became a Gemini-powered bot that turns notes into quiz questions, released as v1.0.0. When TinyDB buckled at 75 users, a MongoDB migration went onto the to-do list.

Five tabs open
By August 2025 the channel was juggling five projects at once: three Telegram bots, a website and an AI model. It deployed the bots early, including Bright SMM Bot and Goalie Live Bot, and published wikiscraper-py for scraping Wikipedia text for ML work. In November it wrote up its approach to learning machine learning as a blog post.

Q&A, then Go
In September 2026 the channel ran an anonymous Q&A, and its coding advice included two big ones: know what you are building before writing code, and learn by building projects. It also shared that its bots had gone offline after trouble with its hosting account, with hopes of bringing them back soon. Days later it kicked off a Go learning journey, promising to post along the way and keep AI out of it as much as possible.

Five projects at once, and the case for shipping bots early so people can start using them.
I’ve been doing 5 projects at once lately 3 Telegram bots, 1 website, and 1 AI model and honestly, it’s been hard to focus on just one 😅. So I decided to deplo...

The other thing is how much using PBL (Project-Based Learning) helps you. When you learn a programming language, you may feel like you know it well but when you...

In their own words.
Just learning loops or data types doesn't mean you will know the language as long as you don't build a project.
So I decided to deploy the bots early. This way, people can start using them, and I’ll keep improving them as we go.
