Henok's blogs
From a blinking Arduino LED to a hackathon app for rehearsing thesis defenses, Henok's blogs documents its projects and learning progress.
I am Henok, Backend and Embedded systems dev(hobby), Let my works speak for themselves!
Henok's blogs was created to document projects and learning progress, mostly in embedded systems, IoT and electronics. Its first project posts include a robotic arm, followed by two team builds from the INSA summer camp: a drone flight controller and a face-recognition attendance system. Lately it pairs op-amp circuit work with Viva, a thesis-defense practice app made for the STARK hackathon.
- Recently the channel has averaged 12.8 posts a week.
- It is on a 12-week run of posting at least once every week.
- Its most-used word is "projects".

Camp circuits
After an embedded systems summer camp at INSA, the channel starts showing hardware: a blinking Arduino LED, then a robotic arm with servo and stepper motors. In October 2025 come two team builds from the camp, a drone flight controller that still needed work to fly and a face-recognition attendance system.

Streaks and reboots
A mission to push GitHub commits for at least 30 days starts in late October 2025, followed by a streak check-in. Laptop trouble comes next, a failed BIOS update and later a motherboard fault, with an "I am back" post in February 2026. By March the channel has started circuit design in KiCad.

Signals and a portfolio
After a quiet spell, the channel returns in June 2026 with a simple 4-bit op-amp DAC meant for a bigger project. Posts on controlling signals with code and spotting noise on a triangle wave follow. In August it shares V1.0 of a portfolio site that took two months, then heads back to schematic design for a hackathon.

Hackathon season
In September 2026 the channel greets new subscribers with an introduction to its embedded systems, IoT and electronics focus, and shows off a new logo. October brings Viva, a thesis-defense practice app built for the STARK hackathon, a rename to Henok's blogs, and a plan to refocus on electronics and embedded projects.

Building now.
- Robotic arm
A robotic arm build using servo motors, stepper motors and a potentiometer, billed as the channel's best project at the time.
Quiet lately1 postsAug 2025– - Drone flight controller
An Arduino and sensor-based drone flight controller, a team graduation project from the INSA talent program that still needed work to fly.
Building2 postsOct 2025– - Smart attendance system
A face-recognition attendance system that identifies users and logs their attendance, built as a team project at INSA.
Quiet lately1 postsOct 2025– - 4-bit DAC circuit
A simple 4-bit digital-to-analog converter built around an op-amp, designed as one piece of a bigger project.
