Jœl's Odd
A self-dev who's focused on python, Data scinece and AI integrations with personal travels and not-funny jokes
Self-dev AI, techie & other life stuffs 👣🏞
Jœl's Odd is a self-dev channel about AI, tech and everyday life, written mostly in English since November 2025. From March 2026 it has posted goals, roadmaps and checkpoints to stay accountable, along with progress on HTML, DSA recaps, daily LeetCode and FastAPI. Between the logs come opportunities like the ALX x IBM SkillsBuild AI & Data Literacy program, dev jokes and the odd race-day photo. Lately it has floated the idea of an open community organization anyone can join without screening.
- 50 weeks in a row with at least one post, and the streak is still going.
- Lately it averages 32.7 posts a week.

Weg'ers at the start line
The channel opened in November 2025 with a call to Weg'ers in dev or tech to grow together and be ambitious. Early posts followed the #GER 2025 10K from start line to final photo, then nudged readers toward competitive programming and checked in from the 2025 Dev Fest.

Here we go again
In March 2026 the channel set out to learn HTML for AI web integrations and recommitted to posting goals, milestones and roadmaps. A one-month check-in listed finished HTML, a two-pointer DSA recap, 28 straight days of daily LeetCode and first steps in FastAPI. Numbered #Day logs followed, mixing FastAPI setup, a LeetCode problem and some reading.

The Odyssey summer
A summer plan split the days into blocks: #TheHustle for client work, freelancing and personal branding, and #GetThatStabbed for deepening skills. Under the #Odyssey tag came client branding concepts, the ALX x IBM SkillsBuild AI & Data Literacy program (certificates collected) and busy hackathon days.

Odd and open
By October 2026 the sign-off read @eyuels_odd, and the logs turned to a FastAPI project after a Python client-reporting practice project. The channel floated an open, no-screening community organization grouped by roles like designers and web devs. It opened a message box for feedback and answered a question on handling a scattered attention span.
