Naol.Builds is a mobile development and product design channel that documents building software, and most readers know it for Flutter and UI/UX. In July 2026 it finished Kayo, a minimal todo and habit tracker first started about a year earlier. Now in the works: Yero, a clock app with Geez numbers and real Ethiopian time, which already has a waitlist site. Around the builds, the feed boosts other makers' launches and invites readers into live focus sessions.

Redesign and a first meetup
In January 2026 the channel finished a self-started redesign of a company website it had set aside once before. A portfolio post followed in February, and in April it thanked its co-hosts after co-organizing its first developer meetup, with a Flutter meetup and product design events planned next.

Running on Ethiopian time
Late July brought a #yero teaser, and by August the idea was clear: a clock app with Geez numbers and real Ethiopian time, not open-sourced and with no APK posted, to avoid copycats. The waitlist site went live that month at yero.naol.space. By October the app icon was cooking, and the feed was inviting readers into 2-hour focus sessions.
